CRAFT CLEAR OUT !!!!! WHAT TO START WITH FIRST

Happy Monday Everyone

I thought long and hard about this !!!

I hate parting with anything but my wee house is bulging at the seams and I truly need to de-clutter. I spent most of Sunday going about like a mad woman cleaning our sitting room. The amount of leaflets that come through our letter-box is quite horrific. I also spent a few hours shredding.

Anyhoo I have decided that I also need to go through and de-clutter my crafting cupboard (unfortunately I dont have a room).

So to start with I am going to sell of my embossing boards by the Glitter Girls. If anybody is interested in buying any of these please let me know. I have 8 boards all in PERFECT condition. They are listed below

BOOKATRIX BOARD
ROMANCE BOARD
ILLUSION BOARD
FRAMEY BOARD
THE KEEPSAKE ULTIMATE BOARD
EASTERN PROMISE BOARD
ELEGANCE & FANTACY BOARD
MAGJESTIC BOARD

PLEASE LOOK AT THE WEBSITE TO SEE THE BOARDS http://www.theglittergirls.co.uk

I am willing to sell these for £8 which is just over half price. Postage will be £1.50.

Thanks for looking !!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO EWE !!!

Happy Saturday !!!

This morning I dragged hubby and daughter off to the Glasgow SECC for the Hobby Craft Show. So I had a mad dash round for a few hours and when it was getting too busy for me I had purchased all that I wanted and all that I could afford. I picked up some really cool cardstock and paper along with some Sizzix dies I have been after for a I while ... so I was really quite happy.

Anyway I would like to share this card that I made using one of Victoria Case's Rubber Stamps which can be purchased either from www.internationalstampconnectsion.com (if you are in the UK) or www.victoriacaseartdesigns.com if you are not. The little sheep I have actually 3d.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. !!!!

LIL SNOWMAN

Hi Everyone !!
I hope that everyone is doing well. Sorry I haven't been around .... doesn't life suck when you have to work for a living when all you really want to do is colour in, blend, and make cards !!!
I made this card yesterday on my day off. I thought instead of having the usual christmas colours I would try something slightly different. I went with purple and silver for my main colours. The stamped image is the Lil Snowman rubber stamp from Victoria Case.
If you are in the UK this stamp can be purchased from www.internationalstampconnections.com or www.victoriacaseartdesigns.com.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

MORE !!!!! BRITANNIA

Hi Everyone !!!!

Again we are half way through another week. I have now asked Lucy to make a list for Christmas ... we have 3 items on the list .. so it is a start. I haven't had the question yet Mum is Santa for real??? But I know at the grand old age of 10 I doubt this year Santa will be real. We shall see.
As promised I would like to share more photos with you of our trip to the Royal Yacht Britannia, which incidentally for those who do not know (me being one of them) that during the Falklands war Britannia was actually used as a floating hospital.
Anyway the first photo is of Lucy sitting on the grand-staircase between the state dinning room and the drawing room, photos shown in my last post.

I mentioned that during the Falklands War that Britannia was used as a hospital. Well here is the sick bay where operations took place. Behind where I was standing when I took the photo were some beds.
This photo is where some of the officers would dine.

Believe it or not there is the HONEYMOON SUITE !!! This is where most of the Royals that used Britannia for their honeymoon slept. It is the only double bed on board Britannia and also where Prince Charles and Princess Diana slept. The actual room is behind thick glass panels. What struck me was it was really quite plain and not as luxurious as you may have imagined.

I hope you have enjoyed these photos as much as I have enjoyed sharing them with you. Okay I am off to do some colouring in. HAVE A GREAT WEDNESDAY !!!!

OUR TRIP TO ... THE ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA

Hi Everyone !!!

Well we had a holiday weekend this weekend. Today we decide to take a trip to Leith near Edinburgh and visit the Royal Yacht Britannia ... something I have always wanted to do. I was not disappointed.

This first photo is the state dinning room. There are 56 places at this table and it took 3.5 hours to set those places. Each place setting was measured by a ruler making sure everything was precise and perfect. Some of the most powerful and influential people have sat at this dinning table with Her Majesty. Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher, Nelson Mandela, Ghandi to name but a few. LOL I cannot remember any other names.

This is one of the small bars on board the yacht for the crew.

This is the Drawing Room where the royal family would retire to after dinner.

This is the front of the yacht before we boarded her. It was fascinating. I will post more photos in the coming days.

Thanks for coming on board !!!!! Oh I am sorry about that !!!!!
Take care
